Joining
Candidacy for membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is by invitation only and open to women of high ethical and scholastic standards who have obtained an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university. Our chapter hosts several public events, such as workshops and social activities, so that prospective candidates can become acquainted with our chapter members and learn about the services we offer to local our community. Reactivating/Transferring Membership
For members reactivating or transferring into Omega Phi Omega, we are delighted that you have chosen to join us. Please be sure to complete the Reactivation Form or Transfer Verification Form found on the National website. Monthly Chapter Meeting
Monthly chapter meetings are only open to initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Sorors are required to contact the memberships chairman by emailing membership@omegaphiomega1908.org. Proof of membership is required and must be verified prior to entering the meeting.
Note: There are no meetings held in July and August. Location is subject to change.
In accordance with the National Standard Operating Guidelines and/or Chapter Protocol, visiting members are asked to provide two forms of identification for meeting entry. Primary identification may include any government issued ID. Secondary identification may include, but are not limited to:
